Just Ask “A Prayer For Humility” Liner Notes

The Breath Center is a "Holistic Arts Movement" comprised of members who have committed to help facilitate the "Accelerated Awakening" of humanity. They travel the world holding intimate, private and closed, large, healing ceremonies or "Curas" at conventions, festivals etc.

The songs and music that are sung and played are the fabric and foundation for the meditative space that is held for these profound transformations. As a result of the deep personal and private nature of the events, the spontaneous tones and live music have remained unavailable and unrecorded up until this time.

The first song "Oração De Elias"(A Prayer For Elijah), features the tone of the 6th Center of the bodies non-ductory glands played on crystal bowls. With a dream like backdrop, "Oração De Elias" takes the listener on a deep journey inward, providing a space for the "over thinking" mind to rest in a sedative state and internal guidance to be birthed through. The closing of the track has a private message directed towards the future generations of Arts Practitioners that hints at the direct cause and affect of much of today’s disease and illness.

The second track “Sob Asas Dos Avó” (Under The Wings Of The Grand Mother), Features a Flute Introduction performed by “Lightening In A Bottle” favorite Joaqopelli Joaquin Montoya. Holding the intention of honoring the Heart Beat, the song marches forward in a rising cadence led by a large Frame Drum and in Ceremony Style, leads the listener on a journey beginning with an honoring of the “Feminine Plant Spirit” known as “Natem”. “Sob Asas Dos Avó” then respects the “Natural Order” by the “calling in” of the “Arch Angles” and Earth Elements of the “Blue Heavens”. The frequency then shifts down into the melting space of internal shadow with the intention of leaving behind all of that which no longer serves. Again at the close of the song there are benevolent messages to all contemporary and indigenous plant medicine families, our allies of artists, guardians and ancestors.

In the third number “Aliento” (Breath), the resolve begins and neutrality is found, again through the use of Crystal Bowls in the warm resonate key of F Major. The Key of F at 174 Hz softly illuminates the Heart Center. This opening is exactly what was intended by Master Rock Musician, Sound Healer, and Engineer Michael Vincze.

This amazing sound healing is Michael’s premier roll out as a writer, producer, engineer and performer following his huge success and personal decision to separate from Island Recording Artists “The Mowglis” of who he was one of the founding members. “Aliento” has been waiting to be brought to arts practitioners for some time with “The intention to touch a few chakras with a heart focus and then ground out”. -Michael Vincze

“Under The Blanket” is the final cut from “Just Ask” and is an ode to Michael Brian Bakers’ Guru “Neem Karoli Baba”. This hillside saint from Northern India is said to have healed, touched and facilitated awakenings in thousands of people from around the globe. One of his most famous teachings was that “Love Is The Strongest Medicine”.

While Neem Karoli Baba never wrote a book or taught his disciples directly, his work continues very powerfully to this day. It was said that after you came in contact with this wise sage, you would always be protected “Under The Blanket” which he was wrapped in as he gave darshan and or meditated.

This song was very close to not seeing the “light of day” because of the difference of opinion and style between the “original version” which was chanted in the style of the other tracks on the release and the pop contrast which was created as guitars and other instruments were added in the songs evolution. This created a polarity in intention between the songs performer and the recording artist.

In the end, the song is a celebration and honoring of the awakening received by Michael from this “being of love” and his honoring of the loss of ego that has been replaced by trust and the willingness to explore without limitation.
